Louis E. Rohr

Louis E. Rohr, 91, of Jackson Township, passed away on Monday, March 27, 2023. Louis was born on December 16, 1931, in Massillon, Ohio the son of the late Augustine and Irene (Sibila) Rohr. He was a 1951 graduate of Jackson High School, where he was a 4-year football letterman. He married Marie Ringley in June 1953. Louis loved taking care of his home, his gardens, and his yard. Louis truly loved his home he built on the Outer Banks, NC. He worked as a Union Carpenter for Gaetano Contractors until his retirement in 1994.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings, Arline Braucher, Henry Rohr, Rita Schwartz, Beatrice Boyd, Alvin Rohr, Maurice Rohr, George Rohr, and James Rohr.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; children, Charles (Tina) Rohr, Eric (Tami) Rohr, and Laura (Paul) Willoughby; grandchildren, Daniel Rohr, Elizabeth Thompson, James Rohr, and Jake Rohr; 4 great-grandchildren; brother, Daniel Rohr; and numerous nieces, and nephews

Friends and family are invited at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, April 3, 2023, from 10 am to 12 pm with the funeral service at 12 p.m. (Noon). Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
