Louann Jeffries

Louann Jeffries, 58 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly Friday morning, April 5, 2013 at Affinity Medical Center. She was born on September 12, 1954 in Massillon to the late Andrew J. & Susan A. (Sargent) Vogt. A graduate of Rydell College, she worked as a self employed medical transcriptionist. Louann was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church and belonged to the Hallmark Christmas Ornament Exchange. She was a very talented writer. An avid reader, she was a fan of the Harry Potter series and collected Barbies. She had a great love for dogs, Polar Bears and all other animals. She is survived by her husband, Dane D. Jeffries, whom she married on April 23, 1994, two step-children, Dane W. Jeffries and Kristin Jeffries both of Massillon, a sister, Margaret (Wes) Wolfe of Akron, and her furry children , Clancy, Wishbone, Hermione, Smokey & Lilly. Close friends, Paul & Susan Huwig and two God-children, Melissa Chaney and Melanie Huwig. She was preceded in death by her first husband, David Rose and two brothers, Andrew T. Vogt and Julius A. Vogt. Friends may gather on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 from5:00PM - 7:00PM at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home with a memorial service following at 7:00PM, Fr. Edward Gretchko, officiating.
