Lorna June Larson

Lorna J. Larson, 65, of Massillon, passed away on January 10, 2019. She was born on January 5, 1954 in Ronceverte, West Virginia to the late Wilmer and Elizabeth (Walkup) McClung. She married James Larson on August 17, 1974 and they shared 25 loving years together before his passing on January 11, 2000. After graduating high school, Lorna became a beautician and kept her license current to her very last day. But more recently, she worked at the Timken Company where she retired from after 12 years of service. In her spare time, Lorna enjoyed the simple things in life, reading, relaxing and watching her favorite TV shows. Her greatest passion and what she lived for were her children and especially her grandchildren who were her pride and joy. She will be deeply missed by her sons Robert (Rachel) Larson and James Larson and daughter Tracie (Sean) Conley; siblings Ricky McClung, Kenny (Susie) Walkup and Diana (Pete) Turner; favorite niece and great niece, Beth (Albert) Stidom and Lindsey Stidom; and her precious grandchildren Aaron Larson, Jenna Larson, Paityn Conley, Paisley Conley, Heather Larson and Stephanie Larson. In addition to her parents and husband, Lorna was preceded in death by her sister Shelva Rider and brothers Darrell Wayne McClung and Adrian McClung. The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 12, 2019 from 12:00pm-12:45pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will start promptly at 12:45pm and burial will follow at Massillon Cemetery.
