Lori Sara Thornton

Lori S. Thornton, 52, of Massillon, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2017 following a battle with Pulmonary Hypertension. Lori was born on April 8, 1964 in Massillon the daughter of the late Victor and Orvene (DeBock) Berquist. She was a United States Air Force veteran and a 1982 graduate of Washington High School. She worked for Home Depot in the special orders department. Lori enjoyed shopping, traveling, walking her dog Lola, eating desserts, and watching scary movies. She is survived by her children, Kiefer Thornton and Kylie (Kasey) Noakes; sister, Vicki (David) Wight; brothers, Mike Berquist and Erick (Marilyn) Berquist; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Lori's life will be held on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at 7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home.
