Lori Morton

Lori Morton left this earth on August 19, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer. She was born January the 30th, 1962 to Ned and Sue Guest who were loving and nurturing parents.

While attending Jackson Local Schools she excelled both academically and athletically, graduating summa cum laude from Akron University. She was blessed with three mostly cooperative children and five grandchildren. She found her greatest professional satisfaction through teaching at the grade school level. It was often impossible to go anywhere in the township without a former student stopping her to talk. Lori was loved by all, and she will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her father Ned, and her paternal and maternal grandparents.

She is survived by her mother Sue Guest and her brother Bruce (Karen); nieces, Lindsey and Caroline; husband, Jack Morton; son, Todd (Amy) Michael; daughters, Erica (Ace) Perren, and Jackie (Greg) Koch. Her grandchildren, Addie, Owen, Mia, Millie, Dominic, Mallory, and Nori were her absolute joys.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 30, 2024 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm at Paquelet Funeral Home. A memorial service will begin at 12:00pm on Saturday, August 31, 2024 at Paquelet Funeral Home.
