Loretta S. Baer, age 58 of Navarre, passed away peacefully Friday, April 18, 2008 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on March 26, 1950 in Clarksburg, WV to the late Forest and Palma Highland. Loretta was a lifelong resident of the area and retired from the Timken Co. after 29 years. She most enjoyed spending time with her family. She also enjoyed baking, camping, traveling and planting flowers in the spring. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Rusty Highland and George Beckelheimer. She is survived by her loving, devoted husband, Ray T. Baer of 39 years of marriage; her daughters, Michele (Dave) Gindlesperger of Navarre and Lisa (Scott) Arndt of Beach City; her son, Jason (Courtney) Baer of Massillon; her step-son, Chris (Mary) Baer of Canton. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren, Michael, Kalie, Zachery, Kyle, Lexi, Gavin, Xander, Christopher and Dresden; brothers, Howard (Linda) Beckelheimer of Massillon and Dan (Priscilla) Beckelheimer of GA. Loretta was loved by all who knew her. She was a great friend, the best mother, wife and grandmother. We will miss her dearly. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday at the funeral home from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Dr. Roger S. Alber will be officiating.
