Loretta M Devaughn

Loretta M. DeVaughn, age 73 of Perry Twp., passed away on February 29, 2020. She was born on November 01, 1946 to the late John and Monica (Mutchler) Kostic. She was a graduate of Washington High School. Loretta married Terry Lee DeVaughn Sr. on May 12, 1966 and they shared 45 years together until his passing in 2011. Loretta worked as a Department Supervisor for J.C. Penney’s and Kohls until her retirement. She enjoyed going to the beach, shopping, going to casino’s, but most of all spending time with her family. Loretta will forever be remembered as a devoted and loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She leaves to cherish her memory her children Terry (Mary Browning) Lee DeVaughn, Jr. and Sherrie (Todd) Irwin; her grandchildren Molly DeVaughn, Andrew (Miranda Hodge) Irwin, and Emilee Irwin; her step-granddaughter Priscilla Hodge; her sisters Jean (Kenny) Dexter and Monica Gilbert; her faithful canine companion Buddy, as well as a host of family and friends. A Celebration of her life will be held on Friday, March 06, 2020 at 11a.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday, March 05, 2020 from 6-8p.m. and 1 hour prior to the service.
