Lora A. Marcelli

Lora A. (Rownd) Marcelli age 43 of Jackson Twp. passed away Tuesday July 3, 2012 after a year's courageous battle with cancer. Lori was born on Sunday May 18, 1969 in Canton. Lori attended Northwood, Avondale, St. Michaels School, and was a primary graduate of Canton Country Day School. Her prep schools included the The Kingswood School Cranbrook in Bloomfield Hills, MI. and graduation from The Andrews School in Willoughby, OH. She attended Bentley College of Business in Waltham, MA and received a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Kent State University and her Master's Degree in Business Administration from Walsh College. Predeceased by her grandparents Homer & Justine Tomlin and W. E. & Margaret Rownd. Lori was a member of Brookside Country Club. A former member of the Junior League of Canton and previously served as a member of the Canton Symphony Board of Directors. Lori began her business career as a partner with R. S. Rownd Agency and became President of UNIZAN Financial Advisors Inc. Currently she was Vice President and Life Insurance Manager for Huntington Insurance, Inc. Lori is survived by her husband, Steven Marcelli, two daughters Hana Weitendorf and Sara Marcelli, a son R. H. (Harry) Weitendorf and step-son Luca Marcelli. Her parents Robert & Gail (Tomlin) Rownd, a sister Roberta Rownd, and two brothers Charles (Carol) Rownd and David (Theresa) Rownd. Also survived by many Beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, Nieces, Nephews and Friends. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Noon Monday at St. Michael's Catholic Church in Canton. Her final resting place will be Sunset Hills Memory Garden. Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and from 10 AM until the time of the Mass at St. Michael's Church.
