Lois M. Drouhard, passed away peacefully Saturday, December 26. Lois was born July 21, 1933, to Leo and Florence Converse. She attended Mount Marie (Central Catholic) High School and Kent State University. She worked at the Hoover Company. She then taught Kindergarten and third grade. Lois was united in marriage to Vincent Drouhard on July 4, 1956. They had eight children, 12 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. She was active in Parish life at Saint Barbara Catholic Church for 62 years. She and Vince were members of the Holy Family Institute. She lived a life full of love, celebration, heartache, strength and unwavering faith. Her door and heart were open to all. She is survived by her husband Vince; children - Amy (Hasle), Ned, Allan, and Mary (Kerestes) and their spouses; 12 grandchildren; 13 great- grandchildren; sister - Jane Converse; brothers - Jim, Jack, Mick, Jerry, and David, and their spouses. Preceding her in death were children Marcella, Matthew, Stephen and Elizabeth Ann; brother Bob and sister Mary. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated with the family, at 10 A.M Saturday, January 2, 2021, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Massillon. Father Edward Gretchko, nephew and Godson of Lois and Vince, will officiate.
