Logan C. Hamilton

Logan C. Hamilton, 92 of Massillon, passed away on June 24, 2010 at the Laurels of Massillon. He was born on September 13, 1917 in Pinckneyville, IL the son of Louis and Mae Hamilton. Logan was a U.S. Army veteran and served during WWII in Central Europe and the Philippines. He worked at Campbell Oil Company retiring in 1982. Logan was in the process of building a Lamborghini replica. He will be missed by family and friends. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by an infant half brother and sister. He is survived by his wife, Iva Jean (Glenn) Hamilton whom he married on September 9, 1939; his children and their spouses, Darlene (Jack) Reese of Malvern and Terry (Janice) Hamilton of Canton; his grandchildren, David (Teri) Reese, Tracy (Thom) Pisani, Bonnie (Kevin) Ault, Kathy Hamilton and Elizabeth Hamilton; his step-grandchildren, Stephanie Hoot, Judy and Tim Marks; his great-grandchildren, Mia Hamilton, Tessa Simons, Coty and Curstynn Marks, Austin Hoot, Connor and Mackenzie Reese, Katarina and Eliana Pisani, Sydney, Alexandra, and Garret Ault and his half-brother, Paul Allen Hamilton of CA and his special friends, Gene Weygandt and Doug Conrady. His funeral service will be held on Saturday at 10:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Fr. Edward Gretchko will be Officiating. His final resting place will be at Sunset Hills Burial Park. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home TONIGHT from 6-8 P.M. and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
