Ljupco “Louie” Najdovski age 65, peacefully passed away the morning of August 14, 2021, following a brief illness. Louie was born in Bitola, Macedonia, on October 15, 1955, son of the late Metodija and Ruzica (Stefanovska) Najdovski, where his love of fishing started as a young boy. Louie immigrated to the U.S. in 1973 at age 17 with his family to Massillon, where he has made his home ever since. He married his beloved wife Jagoda “Betty” in 1981. On August 23, 2021 they would have celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary. After 40 years in the workforce he retired from ARC Machine. Throughout his life he was an active member of the St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church; he served on the church board as president and in other roles. He had a commanding presence on the dance floor and often led traditional Macedonian dances. He was extremely proud of his culture and was eager to share it with everyone. Louie was very gracious and generous to his friends and family. He was known for his love of music, dancing, entertaining, and sports. He loved to play Macedonian songs on his accordion and was an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Louie was the best grandfather “dedo” to his three grandchildren and enjoyed his time with them immensely. He also enjoyed going on walks with his dog, Maverick. He is preceded in death by his father Metodija Najdovski. He is survived by his devoted wife Jagoda “Betty” Najdovski of Massillon, daughters Rose Marie (Bryan) Paumier of New Albany and Alexandra (Gregory) Syler of Seven Hills, his grandchildren Remy, Sylvie, and Amelia, his brother Krste Najdovski of Cleveland, his mother Ruza Najdovski of Massillon, and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 17, 2021 at the Paquelet Funeral Home from 6pm-8pm with a Trisagion service at 7pm. Funeral Liturgy will be held at St. Nikola Macedonian Orthodox Church on Wednesday, August 18, 2021 at 10:30am, celebrated by the Very Reverand Father Vasil Manasiev.
