Ljubica Marinkovich, 84 of Massillon, passed away on Sunday, September 25, 2016. She was born on August 23, 1932 in Pjescanica, Croatia and was the daughter of the late Mile and Ana Dragojevic. She immigrated to America in 1966 with her husband and children. She worked at and retired from the former Perry Rubber Company where she was known as Ruby. Ljubica was a member of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church in Canton. She cherished her church family. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mile Marinkovich and her brothers Stojan, Sava and Dragan Dragojevic. She is survived by her daughter Maca (Damian) Tyler of Westlake, Ohio, her son Tony Marinkovich of Massillon, her granddaughters, Ana, Aleksandra and Natalija Tyler, her sister Danica (Dusan) Zinaja of Croatia, her nieces, Jasminka (Miodrag), Ljubica, Dusanka, Andrea and Eva and her nephew Milan. She also leaves behind many friends and kumovi. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Thursday from 5-8 p.m. with a Pomen Service at 7:30 p.m. The funeral will take place on Friday at 11:00 a.m. at St. George Serbian Orthodox Church with Fr. Aleksa Pavichevich officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. George Serbian Orthodox Church.
