Lisa J. Murphy

Lisa J. Murphy, 53 of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, July 10, 2014 at her residence. Lisa was born on October 1, 1960 in Akron the daughter of Dale and Dorothy (DeShon) Moon. She will be dearly missed by her children and grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her father, Dale Moon. She is survived by her mother, Dorothy Moon; her children, Shain Murphy, Seth Murphy, Savanna (David) Bissett, and Shellie Doyle; her grandchildren, Logan Murphy, Tanner Doyle, Xavier Bissett, Kennady Murphy, Chance Bissett, and Leiara Stolte; her brother, Garth Moon; and her sister, Dana Moon. A Celebration of Lisa's life will be held on Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 5-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to cover expenses.
