On Thursday, May 13th, Heaven gained one of her best angels. After a lengthy, yet courageous battle with cancer, Linda, age 80, passed away at home. She was born February 26, 1941 in Canton, Ohio to Helen and Charles Hinig. Linda was a proud member of the first graduating class of Perry High School in 1959. She maintained lifelong friendships with her classmates and later returned to work in the school. She also played an integral role in opening and supporting her husband’s business, The Glass Stations. In the six years following her diagnosis, she continued hosting every holiday, cooking her favorite meals, and camping at Seneca Lake with her family. Her greatest joy in life was raising her children, loving her family, and being the BEST Mother, Mother-in-law, and Nana (Nan) to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by her daughter, Laura Zelle. She leaves behind to cherish her memory; her loving & devoted husband of 61 years, Toby Rinaldi, daughter Vicki (Jon) Mann, son David (Tonya) Rinaldi, and son-in-law Mike (Amy) Zelle; Grandchildren Michael (Meggie) Ferguson, Molly (Devyn) Hoffner, Wyatt (Sally) Zelle, Serena Thomas, Hayden Zelle, Salvatore Rinaldi & Samantha Rinaldi; Great grandchildren Ava, Deacon, Toby, and Gracie. Her legacy of giving and caring will live on in each of us. Linda’s family would like to thank Dr. Shruti Trehan and her staff for excellent & loving care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Cancer Society. Friends may call Monday, May 17th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Paquelet and Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. A private service will be held for the family at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
