Linda L. Kendrick

Linda "Skip" Kendrick, age 71 of Canton, died on Monday, August 20, 2012 at Mercy Medical Center. She was born on December 18, 1940 in Pikeville, KY and was the daughter of the late Ransey and Roxie (Thacker) Chaney. Skip retired from the former Ohio Bell Company where she was an operator. She was a member of Freewill Baptist Church. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Terry Kendrick, her son, Paul Kendrick and her brother, James Chaney. She is survived by her son, Glen (Luann) Kendrick, her daughter, Terri (Ross) Stein, her daughter-in-law, Lawanna Kendrick, her grandchildren, Ashleigh, Michelle, Danielle, Raelyn, Ranzie and Christopher and her great grandchildren, Kaden, Maddox, Zane and Ethan . Also surviving are her sister Neva Jo (John) Aventino , her brothers, Ransey (Jackie) Chaney and Donnie Ray (Beverly) Chaney her sister-in-law, Jenny Chaney and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will take place on Friday at 11:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home at 1100 Wales Road NE in Massillon. Burial will follow at Sunset Hills Memory Gardens.
