Linda L. Cindia

Linda L. Cindia, 74, passed away on August 31, 2021, following an extended illness. She was born in Canton on March 20, 1947 to Gasper and Delores (Crawford) Campisi. Linda was a 1964 graduate of Washington High School and retired from The Stark County Board of Mental Retardation. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon. Linda will be remembered for her zest of life, love and dedication to family and her ornery sense of humor. She is survived by her husband, Emil N. “Butch” Cindia, whom she married on November 27, 1965; their children, Angela (Brian) Webb and Christopher (Melody) Cindia; five grandchildren, Brittany, Joshua, Katie, Lindsey and Jonathan ; two great-grandchildren, Blake and Ashton; and siblings, Peggy (Bob) Hoffman, Tina Smith, Mike Campisi, Dino Campisi, Tony Campisi and Suzy (John) Bettilyon. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3, 2021 from 6pm-8pm at the Paquelet Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Raymond Paul at 10am Saturday, September 4, 2021 at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Massillon. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.
