Linda K. (Kulick) Span passed away peacefully in her sleep after battling Alzheimer’s disease at the age of 70 at Wyant Woods in Akron on August 13, 2021. Linda was born in Massillon, Ohio on April 11, 1951. She graduated from Tuslaw High School in 1969 and went on to earn her associates degree. She worked as a payroll clerk at Hercules Engine, Ansell Perry, and Aultman Hospital. Linda is predeceased by her husband Terry Span, her biological father Robert Kulick, mother Joan Hartman, step- father Melvin Hartman, grandparents Joseph and Freda Plummer, first husband and father to her two sons Gerald Stanko, step son Terry Span Jr., and her beloved fur babies Sawsha, Sheba, Colby, Bawsha, and Mishka. Linda is survived by her two brothers Robert Kulick and Tom Hartman, two sons Beau and Brett Stanko, beloved dog Mocha, stepchildren Tim Span and Tammy Blackledge, and her two grandchildren Chloe and Sylas Stanko. Linda will be missed dearly by all who were lucky enough to have her in their life. She was full of life, beautiful on the inside and out, and would do anything to help another, even a stranger. She was full of energy with a bubbly personality and went out of her way to make everybody she knew feel special. Linda loved the ocean, dogs, bowling, shopping, holidays, cooking, and fashion. She had a closet most women could only dream about with shoes and jewelry to match every outfit. She was a very devoted mother and was an inspiration to all who knew her. She worked part-time jobs at the tanning salon and funeral home to provide them the best and always managed to have a home-cooked meal and spotless home. Once she became a nana her world revolved around her two grandbabies, and we were so lucky to have her. We are very sad to lose her this soon but know how blessed we are she was in our lives. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Monday, August 23, 2021, from 6-8 p.m. Messages of comfort and support may be sent to the family at www.paquelet.com.
