Linda J Walter

Linda J. Walter, 78, of Canton, passed into the arms of God on, May 15, 2022. Linda was born in Canton, Ohio on July 27, 1943, to the late Francis and Betty Freeman. Linda was a loyal and faithful servant of the lord. She expressed this by teaching Sunday School and volunteering for several organizations, most recently, The Attic in Massillon, S.H.A.R.E. Program and The Red Cross. She was even a member of the National Guard. In her free time, she loved cooking and baking. Along with her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her husband, John Walter and one sister, Helen Oleskey. She is survived by her children, Rebecca J Hinson and Lloyd (Katie) Hinson; sisters, Gerry Nessar and Patricia Dwiggans; and numerus grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family would like to express their deep gratitude to the nursing team at Aultman Hospital for their exceptional care in Linda’s time of need. Memorial donations may be made to Aunt Susie’s Cancer Wellness Center. A graveside funeral will take place at Rose Hill Memorial Garden on Monday, May 23, at 11:00 am.
