Linda J. Dennis

Linda J. Dennis, 59, of Perry Township, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2013. Linda was born on April, 8, 1954 in Massillon the daughter of Melvin and Joyce (Bennett) Dennis. She was a lifelong resident of the area and had been employed at Rose Lane as a nurses' aide for 15 years. Linda loved spending time with her nieces and nephews and had an overall love for children in general. She loved cooking for others and a compassionate spirit towards others. She was a member of Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle Church. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Earl & Mary Bennett and Earl and Lorna Dennis; and her sister, Brenda Dennis. She leaves to cherish her memory her parents, Melvin (Joyce) Dennis; her brothers, Mel E. (Esther) Dennis, James Dennis and Robert Dennis; her nieces and nephews, Lori, Justin, Deidre, Marissa, Noah, James Andrew II, Heather, Jamie and Jason; her aunts and uncles; Dan (Rose) Bennett, James Huskisson, Carl Shaw, Ken (Bev) Dennis, Ronnie (Leora) Dennis and Earlene Caswell. A Celebration of Linda's life will be held on Monday, December 16, 2013 at 12:00 p.m. at the Apostolic Lighthouse Tabernacle: 3120 Lincoln Way E., Massillon, OH. Pastor Nicholas Strange will be Officiating. Her final resting place will follow at Massillon Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Paquelet Funeral Home from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday and one hour before the service at the church on Monday.
