Linda Grace Walton

Linda Grace Walton, of Massillon, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 3, 2024 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Opal A. (Lehman) McCullough- Richwine and Jay Robert McCullough, on January 6th, 1942.

Linda retired from R W Screw Products and was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. She cherished and thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. Her family meant the world to her, and they were the center of her life. Linda enjoyed going out to eat and playing cards in her free time. She will be missed greatly by family and friends.

Linda is survived by her children; Lavonna (David) Maxheimer, Steven (Carrie) Hamrick, and Kimberly Walton (Louis Poppovich); siblings, Shirley (Wayne) Mishler, James McCullough, and Calvin (Carole) McCullough; daughter-in-law, Kathy Hamrick; son-in-law, Todd Snyder; 16 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by her loving husband of 43 years, David Karl Walton; children, Robert Hamrick and Karla Walton; and brother, Jerry McCullough.

Family and friends may visit between 10am and 11am on Friday August 9, at Paquelet Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 11am with Pastor Tim Mishler officiating. Burial will follow at Dover Burial Park.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in honor of her late daughter Karla Walton, to Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
