Linda Faye Crowl

Linda Faye Crowl, 65, of Canton, went to be with her Lord & Savior after a long courageous battle with ALS "Lou Gehrig's Disease" on Wednesday, September 5, 2012 at Aultman Compassionate Care Center. She was born in Canton on January 9, 1947 to the late John D. Dutton, Sr. & Lucy M. " Mickey " DeBoard Dutton of Canton. She was a graduate of Perry High School, and worked many years for Anthem Blue Cross and Blue Shield. She then spent the next three years as office manager for the Canton Crocodile's Semi-Pro Baseball Organization and was a host mother for many players. She then returned to the insurance industry at the Carnegie Brokerage Agency. She was a member of Canton Baptist Temple, attended the Ambassador Sunday School Class, a church pianist and a Sunday school teacher. Linda is survived by her loving husband, Carl Crowl, whom she married on June 11, 1966 of Canton, her three daughters, Kimberly Crowl of Canton, Heather Crowl – Scott of Canton, MI, Kerry ( John ) Zutavern of Canton, two grandchildren, Shae Scott, Jaydon Scott, two brothers, John D. (Jackie) Dutton, Jr., of Stow and Alan W.( Renee) Dutton of Lake Ridge, VA. The family will hold a private memorial service at Paquelet Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers the family suggest memorial contributions be made to Aultman Compassionate Care or the Henniger Ministry Center at the Canton Baptist Temple.
