Linda C. Staaf

Linda C. Staaf, aged 71, passed away on November 26, 2011 at Aultman Hospital. She was born on February 12, 1940 in Wilson, North Carolina to the late Alonza Whitley and Mary Elizabeth Council. She married David G. Staaf on February 9, 1957 and he survives. She was employed in Food Services with Doctors Hospital for several years and was a member of Whipple Avenue Baptist Church. Her most important role was that of a wife and mother, in addition to being known as a very giving person. In addition to her husband she is survived by her sons, Robert G.(Roseann) Staaf of Madison NC, William A (Kathy)Staaf, James A. (Karla), John D. Staaf , all of Massillon. Five grandchildren, Ezekiel G. Staaf, Joseph Staaf, Jesse Staaf, Hannah Staaf, and Jase Ladd, 1 brother Robert Whitley. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister Peggy Gustin. A funeral service will be conducted at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home on Tuesday, November 29, 2011 at 12:00 Noon. Pastor John Moosey, officiating. A visitation will be held the same day from 10 A.M. until the time of the service. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
