Lillie L. Christie

Lillie L. Christie, 78 of Massillon, passed away Monday. She was born on July 13, 1936 in Massillon to DeWitt and Catherine (Mead) Bishop. Lillie was employed for 29 years for Kmart. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lillie loved to cook and trips to the casinos. In addition to her parents, a brother, Gregory Bishop preceded her in death. She is survived by sons, Sam "Skip" & Darlene Christie, Bill Christie, Bob Christie; daughters, Cathie & David Pape, Reta Clemens; grandchildren, Billy, Samantha, DeWitt, Jessica, Olivia, Sammy, Logan, Gabrielle, Jason, Ashley; great grandchildren, Jase, Jude & Joshua; brothers, DeWitt Bishop Jr., Lorin & Sylvia Bishop, Fr. Tom Bishop; sisters, Saundra & Lanny Bucci, Darla Bishop. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11:00 A.M. at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Massillon. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 A.M. Interment will follow in the parish cemetery.
