Lillian A. "Babs" Mason

Lillian A. "Babs" Mason, 83, of Massillon, passed away on November 16, 2022, following a period of declining health.

She was born on October 29, 1939 to the late Walter and Shella (McGraw) Nichols in Parkersburg, WV.

Babs and her family owned and operated a bowling center in Loudonville, and she had worked for Echo and Walmart in the optical department. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star and White Shrine. She loved to bowl, bake and sew. Babs was dedicated to her family.

Babs is survived by her children, Penny E. (Tom Nemeskal) Mason, Holly J. Wilsey, Kelly S. (John) Orlando, Shelly K.(Jason Smith) Lewis, Timothy G. Hosler and Shannon Owens; seventeen grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; three sisters, Pauline Eckroad Stone, Kay (William) Kennedy, and Gail Childers; and sister-in-law, Ottie Hosler.

She was preceded in death by three children, Chip P. Hosler, Debra Zilka and Donna Hosler; grand son, Steven Stafford; siblings, Susie Maxhimer, Wanda Casto and Bernard Nichols; husbands, Phillip Mason and George Hosler.

Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 23, 2022, 12:00 pm to 1pm at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home, Massillon, with a memorial service to follow at 1pm in the funeral home.

Memorial Contributions are suggested to the Shriners Children Hospitals.
