Lester Orr

Lester Orr, age 64, of North Lawrence passed away Sunday March 24, 2013 at his residence. He was born September 17, 1948 in Canton. He was a 1966 graduate of Washington High School. Following high school he served four years in the Marines. Les retired in 1997 from the Timken Company after 32 years of service. He enjoyed nature, riding motorcycles, spending time with his grandchildren. His father Charles Orr passed away 2012. He is survived by his wife, Kay (Weirich) Orr whom he married July 25, 1970. They have three children and spouses: Matthew (Erin) Orr, Leslie (David) Laverty and Luke (Jenna) Orr. They have six grandchildren: Ryder, Rueger, Lilly, Allison, Charlie & Tyler. In addition, he is survived by his mother Lucille Orr, a twin brother and two sisters: Chester (Kathy) Orr, Bonnie (Shane) Midcap and Kristie (Brian) Jacobeen. Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Friday at 10:30 AM at the funeral home, Fr. Thomas Cebula will officiate.
