Leslie A. Speck

Leslie A. Speck, 83 of Massillon, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. Leslie was born on April 28, 1934 in Dover Ohio, the daughter of John and Margaret (Palmer) Albert. She was a lifelong resident of Massillon and a graduate of Washington High School. Leslie worked at the Hanover House for over 25 years. She was a member of the Massillon Women’s Club and Spring Hill Historical Society. Leslie enjoyed reading, cooking and spending time with her family. Along with her parents she was preceded in death by her niece Darci Phillips. She is survived by her companion of 10 years David Murdock; son Lee Speck of Columbus, OH; brother, Bob (Becky) Palmer; sister, Margaret Brown of Carolina Beach, NC; granddaughters, Erin (Aaron) Pugh and Megan (Justin) Parsons; great granddaughter Gabriella; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Leslie’s life will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017 at 1 P.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Ohio. Interment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
