Lerry Elleck Torrian "Deuce" Crable, 73, of Massillon, passed away unexpectedly on April 30, 2024 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born on December 29, 1950 in Tallahassee, FL.
He was a graduate of Washington High School and attended Stark State College. Lerry retired from Union Drawn/ Republic Steel. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. His favorite sport was fishing. His family called him the Bass Master. He was dedicated to his family. Lerry loved swimming, hunting, camping and playing the drums in the band The Mellow Fellows. He played softball and bowled in lots of tournaments in his youth. He traveled all over the United States and worked all over the country after his retirement. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Lerry is survived by his children Tira (Kurt) Adams, Lerin Everett, and Lerry T. (Mary) Crable II; ten grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; siblings, Jene Crable-Morris, Holly Turner, George (Adrienne) Chatters, Kenny (Beverly) Chatters, Dana Chatters; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father Herbert Irvin "Ace" Crable and mother Hazel Lee (Milton) Chatters.
Visitation will be held Saturday, May 11, 2024 from 11am-12pm at Friendship Baptist Church Massillon, Ohio followed by a Home Going Celebration in the church at 12pm, officiated by Dr. Walter Arrington.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the family.
