Leroy Allen Jr.

Leroy Allen Jr., age 73 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, December 05, 2020. He was born on June 06, 1947 to the late Grace (Earley) and Leroy Allen Sr. He married Inez W. Russell on February 28, 1973 and they shared almost 48 years together. Leroy was employed with the Timken Company for 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed hunting, going to Amish Country, working around the house, cutting his grass and working in his garden. He was a sharp dresser and enjoyed going out to eat and shop with his wife. Leroy was known as someone to lend a helping hand and never knew a stranger. Always the comedian, he left those in his company laughing. He leaves to cherish his wife of 48 years Inez; his step-children Carol (Roger) Johnson, Paulette Oliver, Mary Anne Williams, George (Denice) Oliver, Bruce (Willa) Oliver, Eunice Oliver; his sisters Judy Cole, Stephanie Allen and Patti Jo Allen; his brother Willy (Jerry) Allen; 17 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Leroy was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter Rechelle Stokes and his brother Larry Allen. A Homegoing Celebration of his life will be held on Monday, December 14, 2020 at 11a.m. and will be live streamed Facebook Live Streaming at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon.
