Leota Marie Williams, 89, of Massillon, passed away on September 21, 2023 at Amherst Meadows.

She was born on January 22, 1934 to the late Paul and Dora (Foster) Manson of Massillon, OH.

Leota was a graduate of Washington High School, Class of 1952, where she was a majorette with the Tiger Swing Band. She retired from the US Postal Service in 1994, and was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Leota loved to make candy, cooking, and sewing, she also taught her daughters to sew, cook, and crochet. She also enjoyed camping.

Leota is survived by her loving children, Glynna M. Nave, Cherie G. Steffen, and Paula K. (Greg) Smith; eight grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren, Brother, Paul (Christine) Manson.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sister, Laird Manson, Kenneth Manson, and Gertrude Rowe; and husband, Glynn E. Williams.

Friends and family will gather at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:30am-11:30am with a memorial service to be held at 11:30am.

Memorials are suggested to the Holy Trinity Lutheran Church.
