Leonard Wiggins

Leonard Wiggins, age 92 of Massillon passed away December 26, 2010 at Hanover House. He was born March 25, 1918 in Sawyersville, AL to the late Peter & Eloise (Hobson) Wiggins. Most of his life was spent in Massillon and he retired from Republic Steel. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death his wife Annie R. (James) Wiggins (Sept. 2, 2010) and eight siblings. He is survived by four children and spouses; Wayne (Linda) Wiggins of Canton, Robert (Priscilla) James of Aurora, CO, Carole (Cornelius) Clark and Lisbon (Viola) James all of Massillon; two sisters, Maggie Harden of Cincinnati, OH and Lillie Rose Wharton of Louisville, KY and a brother, Roosevelt Wiggins of St. Louis, MO. There are numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and other relatives and friends. The Homegoing Service for Mr. Wiggins will be 1:30 PM Wednesday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Rev. Henry M. Billingsly will officiate. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery. Friends may call from 12:30 PM until the time of the service at the funeral home on Wednesday.
