Leonard W. King

Leonard King, 85, of Massillon, Ohio passed away on August 24, 2024. He was born on March 23, 1939, to the late Walter and Zelma King (Yost).

Leonard was a former employee of Tyson Bearing Company in Massillon. He then worked from his home body shop. Leonard was an avid hunter who enjoyed being able to show off his trophy room. He loved being a grandpa, and would support his grandchildren in their many events. He loved to go camping and travel with his family. He also enjoyed watching and going to NASCAR races. Leonard loved his family, and they will all miss him dearly.

He was also preceded in death by his brother, Lester King.

Leonard is survived by his wife of 63 years, Karen (Snavely) King; children, Scott (Kim) King, Kelly (Michael) Myers, Jason (Sarah) King; special son, Morgan from Sao Paulo, Brazil; grandchildren, Jessica (Kyle) Jacoby, Austin (Jessie) King, Hannah King, Justin (Stephanie) Stinespring, Megan Stinespring, Hunter Hill, Justin Myers, Ashley (Cody) Csonka, Logan (Stephanie) Myers, Brandon King, Morgan King, Maci (Gage) Winter, Maria King, Brody King, and Landyn Stanich; 9 great-grandchildren; siblings, Carl King and Calvin (Suzanne) King; sister-in-law, Cindy King; and many other nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Thursday, August 29, 2024 at Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at West Lebanon Community Church at 2:00pm on Sunday, September 8, 2024. Family will receive friends an hour prior to the service.
