Leo M. Frank age 85 of North Lawrence passed away February 11, 2007 at his residence. He was born December 2, 1921 in North Canton to the late Leo A. & Edna C. (Boron) Frank. He was raised and lived most of his life in North Canton, moving to North Lawrence in 1980. He retired as general foreman after 42 years of service with Republic Steel. Upon retiring he was a sales agent for Patron’s Mutual Insurance, a USDA Federal Crop Insurance Adjuster, and a USDA Farm Service Agency Field Reporter. A life time farmer he enjoyed raising livestock, especially sheep. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Our Lady of Lourdes Council K of C. #4533, Stark County Farm Bureau, and had volunteered for the Stark County 4-H Program. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister and brother: Catherine Werner and Russell Frank. He is survived by his wife, Wilma J. (Billie) Frank with whom he would have shared 55 years of marriage on February 23rd.; a daughter & son in law, Mary Sandra & Don May of Massillon; son & daughter in law, Mark A. & Carla Frank of North Lawrence. Two brothers: Ralph (Wilma) Frank of North Canton, Donald (Elizabeth) Frank of Massillon and a sister in law Eugenia Frank of North Canton. He adored his four grandchildren: Christian, Katherine, Natalie and Aaron and was thrilled to be their ‘popo’. And many nieces and nephews survive. A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 AM Friday at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, his pastor Fr. Edward Gretchko will officiate. Burial will be at St. Peters Cemetery in Canton. Friends may call Thursday 4 PM until 7 PM at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. Special appreciation to Dr. Kevin Dieter, Dr. Tim Coblentz, Aultman Woodlawn, Aultman Hospice. In lieu of flowers donations can be sent to St. Mary’s School Fund.
