Leo A. Rohr

Leo A. Rohr, age 78 of Massillon, passed away Friday evening at Amherst Meadows with his loving family by his side. Leo was born on December 13, 1928 in Massillon to the late Leo H. and Justina (Seifert) Rohr. He was a United States Army Veteran serving during the Korean Conflict. He retired from Fulton Lumber in 1993 as a yard foreman. Leo was a member of the Massillon American Legion Post # 221. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Vera Rohr in 2001; son Dennis Michael Rohr in 1987; brothers, Carl, Bob, Howard, John, Hermie and Dutch. Leo is survived by sons and daughters-in-law, Leo Duane (Ginger) Rohr, Donald (Shannon) both of Massillon; sisters, Ruth Heitger and Marie Heimann both of Massillon; grandchildren, Michael, Cassandra, Cody and Shelby Rohr. Funeral services celebrating Leo’s life will be held Wednesday at 11:00 AM at the Arnold – Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon with Fr. Thomas Cebula officiating. Calling hours will be Tuesday from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM and one hour prior to the services on Wednesday at the funeral home. Interment will take place at Brookfield Cemetery.
