Leland W. Moore

Leland Moore, passed away unexpectedly following a short illness. He was born in Louisa, Kentucky in 1932 and moved to Ohio in 1948. He served his country for 4 years in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Rowe. He moved to Canton in 1958 and owned and operated 3 barbershops, the first being at Country Fair Shopping Center. He retired in 1995 after 37 years in the business. He loved old cars, camping and traveling the country in his motor home with his grandchildren. Leland was preceded in death by his parents, Taylor and Cora Moore and his brother Jack Moore. He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Garnet Moore, 3 children, Bill Moore, Gina Moore and Dee Moore, 5 grandchildren; Jacob, Leah, Stephanie, Brittany and Joshua, 1 great grandchild, Falon and his sister Lena Hamilton. A memorial service will take place on Saturday, February 3, 2017 at the Paquelet & Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 2-3 p.m.
