Lela Monroe

Lela Monroe, 88, of Canton, Ohio, passed away October 31, 2024. She was born on January 4, 1936 to the late William and Reba Weekley.

Lela was devoted to her family, and enjoyed spending time with them. She loved to listen to Elvis, and enjoyed running Farmer Chuck's Garden Center with her late husband. Lela was very family oriented, and she will be deeply missed by everyone who loved her.

In addition to her parents, Lela was preceded in death by her son, Jeffrey Varner; sister, Carol Gonzalez; and her loving husband Charles Monroe.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Susan (Randy) Weiford, Beth Bustamante, and Greta Smith; her grandchildren, Angela (Richard) Kobelt, Tim Kraft, Bryan (Stacey) Jewell, Nick Jewell, Corey Smith, Matthew Smith, Justin Smith, and Scott Smith; many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who loved their LuLu, especially Julian and Drayden; and her sister, Linda Galaviz.
