Lela M. Mummertz

Lela M. Mummertz, 89, passed away unexpectedly on January 29, 2017. She was born in Navarre on November 18, 1927 to the late John and Pauline (Mitzel) Mummertz. Lela retired from Ekco House Wares, where she was secretary to the president. She loved bowling and spending time with family. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church. She is survived by her brother, Leo (Jean) Mummertz of Massillon; special niece and nephew, Jeffrey Kraus and Lorraine Kraus; and eleven other nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her brother John Mummertz; and three sisters, Rita Schauer, Jeannette Kraus and Doris Mummertz. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Fr. Michael Seifert at Holy Family Catholic Church, Navarre on Friday, February 3. 2017 at 1:30pm. Burial will follow at St. Clement Cemetery.
