Leilani. L. “Lani” Lehman, 64 of Jackson Township, went home to be with the Lord, Jesus Christ on Saturday, May 6th after a long and courageous battle with cancer and lung disease. She was born on February 18, 1942 in Massillon and was the daughter of the late Harry S. and Lillian (McDougal, later Beck) Curley. She was a lifelong area resident. Upon her retirement from LTV Steel where she worked in the payroll department, Lani worked at First Merit Bank in Canal Fulton. She enjoyed choreography, interior decorating and baking. She was a member of Rivertree Christian Church in Jackson Township. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her granddaughter Caitlin Elizabeth Scibetta on December 7, 1989. She was a devoted mother to Kendra (Anthony) Scibetta of Jackson Township and Don Lehman of Jackson Township and a devoted grandmother to Haley and Lauren Scibetta. She is also survived by her sisters Verna (Charles) Jacobs of Perry Heights and Sharlene (Dale) Kessler of Downingtown, PA. Funeral services will be conducted on Wednesday at 10:00 A.M. at the Paquelet Funeral Home with Pastor Al DeAngelo officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Memorial Gardens.
