Lawrence ‘Larry’ Mcnurlin

Lawrence ‘Larry’ McNurlin, age 83 of North Canton, passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2009 at AlterCare of Nobles Pond. Larry was born December 2, 1926 in Lore City, OH to the late James & Nora (Wallace) McNurlin and lived most of his life in Stark County. He received an honorable discharge from the Navy following WW II. Larry and his wife Delores, owned and operated Pleasant View Mobile Home Sales on Rt. 62 in Canton. Following retirement they spent their winters in Florida. He shared 44 years of marriage with his wife, Delores (Hanle) McNurlin. His wife suffered a severe stroke and he patiently cared for her until her passing on September 25, 1993. He is survived by his children, Joanne Wise of North Canton and Randall & Alisa McNurlin of Canton; 2 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and a sister, Lucille Bales of Dover. Funeral services will be 1 PM Friday at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon, Rev. Randy Shafer will officiate. Burial will be at North Lawn Cemetery.
