Lawrence "Larry" J. Rogers, age 70 passed away on August 17, 2016. He was born on May 09, 1946 to Odis and the late Verilda (Lawrence) Rogers in Kittanning, Pennsylvania. He served his country in U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He served a tour in Vietnam and had served in Germany during his military service. He was a Flextographer at Automated Packaging for 35 years until his retirement. He enjoyed gardening, canning and cooking. Lawrence was a low key kind of guy and a generous person, always willing to help someone in need. He was known for many things; among them being a dedicated and hard worker, but most importantly a family man. He will forever be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, son Lawrence is survived by his children Tony (Dana Lynn) Rogers, Tracy (Derrick) Knauf and Odis (Heather) Rogers; 11 grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; the love of his life Judy Rogers; his father Odis J. Rogers as well as a host of nieces, nephews and friends. In addition to his mother, Lawrence was preceded in death by his brother Carl Douglas Rogers. In accordance with his wishes, services will be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Lawrence's memory to Aultman Hospice 2821 Woodlawn Avenue NW, 44708.
