Lawrence H. Easterday

Lawrence H. Easterday, age 83 of Massillon, died on Sunday, June 14, 2009 at Affinity Medical Center. He was born on July 23, 1925 in Fergus Falls, Minnesota and was the son of the late Albert and Mabel (Nelson) Easterday. He was a Massillon resident for most of his life. He retired as a millwright with Washington Stainless Steel. He was a member of Epworth United Methodist Church. He enjoyed working on cars. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Larry “Gordie” Easterday. His is survived by his wife, Beverly J. (Weaver) Easterday, whom he married on October 28, 1950, his daughter Cheryl (Bob) Frazee of Massillon, his grandchildren Wendy (Kenny) Stevens and Lori (Andy Bendure) Easterday, his great grandchildren, Ean, Samantha and Shane, his daughter in law Linda Easterday, his brothers, Robert Easterday and Donald (Karen) Easterday and his sisters, Mary Gehring and Beverly (Rich) Dye. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday at 1:00 P.M. at the Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends on Tuesday (TONIGHT) from 6-8 P.M. and on Wednesday one hour before the service. The family wishes to thank Home Helpers for the outstanding care that they provided.
