Lawrence Arnold Walters

Lawrence A. Walters, 72, of Massillon, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at Mercy Medical Center with his wife by his side. Larry was born on June 26, 1944 in Detroit, Michigan to Lawrence and Katherine (Heiser) Walters. He married Elaine Lane on December 9, 1978. They shared 38 loving years together. Larry worked as a truck driver for most of his adult life. In his spare time, he loved going camping and fishing. He will be deeply missed by his wife, Elaine; and his 4 sons from a previous marriage. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. The family with receive friends on Thursday, March 16, 2017 from 5-7 pm at the Paquelet & Arnold Lynch Funeral Home in Massillon. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 17, 2017 at 10 am with Rev. Gary Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Fulton Cemetery.
