Laurain R. Wilson

Laurain R. Wilson, age 72 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, March 19th at the Cleveland Clinic. She was born on July 2, 1936 in Friendsville, Tennessee to the late Eugene and Viola (Crisp) Goforth. She worked for the Juvenile Court for six years and 27 years at the Children’s Service Board in Summit County retiring in 1987. She was preceded in death by her husband of 38 years, Dewey Wilson; brother, Carl Goforth; sister, Thelma Coleman. She is survived by her twin sons, Steve (Julie) Slider of Michigan and Stanley Slider of Massillon; daughter, Angel Nicolardi of Canal Fulton; grandchildren, Tara and Trent Slider and Angelia Nicolardi; great grandson, Dominick Slider; brothers, Troy, Roy and Charles Goforth; sister, Marian. She will be loved and missed by all who knew her. Private services will take place at a later date. The Arnold-Lynch Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
