Laura J. Jones

Laura J. Jones (Frank), 66, passed away at home and surrounded by family, on March 17th, 2021. She was born on November 15, 1954 to Robert and Helen Frank. Laura was the owner-operator of Oh Heavenly Dog & Pet Grooming for 36 years. Prior to her illness, she worked at Aultman Hospital as part of the kitchen staff. Other places of employment include Kaufman’s Department Store in Canton at the Centre Mall; and before that, she worked in the computer center of the former Central Trust Bank. Laura was a 1972 graduate of Fairless High School. She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Randy Jones; daughters Monica Amburgey (Douglas), Krista Jones of Massillon, Kelly Jones of Brecksville; grandsons Aaron Amburgey, Nathan Amburgey, & Ethan Jones; mother Helen V. Frank of Meadowinds Healthcare Center of Massillon. She was preceded in death by her father Robert E. Frank, sister Suzanne Barr and her son Keith R. Jones. Laura was an avid animal lover her life. Anyone wishing to donate please do so to Stark County Humane Society or AultmanFoundation.org Cremation and arrangements were handled by Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon and a memorial service will be held at a later date when the Covid-19 crisis has passed.
