Laura A. Zelle

Laura A. Zelle, age 45 of Massillon, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2010 following a courageous ten year battle with cancer. She was born on August 28, 1964 in Canton, Ohio and was a graduate of Perry High School and Youngstown State University where she earned a degree in dental hygiene. Laura’s courage, faith and giving nature were an inspiration to all of those who knew and loved her. She was dedicated to her family and liked to cook for them, play blackjack, watch her boys play sports, traveling and being creative with her hands. She lived every moment to the fullest and always felt blessed for her life and the family and friends around her. She is preceded in death by her mother-in-law, Eileen Zelle. She is survived by her loving husband, Michael, and their two sons, Wyatt and Hayden, and her parents Toby and Linda Rinaldi, brother David (Tanya) Rinaldi, sister Vicki (Jon) Mann, father-in-law Richard Zelle, brother-in-law Mark (Paula) Zelle, her “first children,” niece Molly and nephew Michael Ferguson, nieces Samantha, Talia, and Alea and nephew Salvator as well as numerous aunts and uncles. We would like to thank our many friends who have supported us during those trying years with meals, love, and support. The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Dina Rooney and staff at TriCounty Hematology, Dr. Steven Grossman and nurses at Aultman Palliative Care and Hospice nurse Kathy Carl. A service to celebrate her life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home, 1100 Wales Rd., in Massillon, at 10:30am on Friday, February 12. Entombment will follow at Rose Hill Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends from 5-8pm on Thursday, and one hour before the service on Friday.
