Larry R. Tilton

Larry R. Tilton, age 68 of Perry Township passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, September 20, 2008. He was born on January 16, 1940 in Massillon, Ohio and was the son of the late Russell and Doris (Link) Tilton. He was a lifelong area resident. He retired from Conrail in 1999 following 35 years of service. He enjoyed camping and snowmobiling. He is survived by his wife, Violet M. (Smith) Tilton whom he married on October 5, 1963, his daughter Maria (Wesley Smith) Tilton of East Sparta, OH, his son Patrick (Sheri) Tilton of Massillon, his grandchildren, Cole & Shelbi Tilton and C.J. Smith and his sister Lois (Phil) Finney of North Carolina. There are no calling hours or services. A private memorial service for the family is planned for a later date.
