Larry R. Barron

Larry R. Barron, 76, passed away on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born in Massillon on November 25, 1938 to Twyla (Morgan) Barron and the late Miles Barron of Massillon. Larry received his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Kent State University. He retired in 2004 from Chnee Morehead, Dallas Texas. He was an active member of First Assembly of God, Massillon. Larry is also survived by his wife, Helen J. (Shanor) Barron, whom he married on March 27, 1993; two sons, Joel (Jill) Barron of Gates Mills and Mark (Faith) Barron of Madison; three, step children, Richard (Gail) Gerhard of Tampa, FL, Shirl (David) Hafner of Orlando, FL and Renee (Michael) Gallagher of Canton; and seventeen grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by his son, Paul Barron and his first wife, Phoebe (Miller) Barron in 1992. Friends and family may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 30, 2015 from 6:00PM-8:00PM. Friends may also call on Wednesday from 10:00AM-11:00AM at the First Assembly of God, Massillon. A funeral service will be held at 11:00AM, Pastor Jeremy McGraw, officiating. Burial will be in Sunset Hills Burial Park.
