Larry Lee Goss

August 17, 1946 — September 12, 2015

Larry L. Goss, age 69 went home to be with the Lord on September 12, 2015. He was born in Belington, West Virginia on August 17, 1946 to the late Edward and Lulu Goss. Larry was a 1965 graduate of Washington High School. Larry proudly served his country in the U.S. Army doing a tour in Vietnam. He retired from Heinz Frozen Foods as a forklift operator. Larry enjoyed fishing, Cowboy movies, and reading Western novels, but he lived for family cookouts and gathering and sitting on the front porch with his dog talking to family and friends. He will forever be remembered as a loving brother, uncle and friend. Larry is survived by his sister Linda Herman and his brother Lloyd (Sue) Goss. His nieces and nephews J.R. Smith, Jimmy Herman, Jody(Brian) Kraft, Julie Herman, Nancy(Steve) Urban, Michael Goss, Linda(Larry) Fisher and Cathy Goss; Great nieces and nephews Richard Smith, Dariean Urban, Hunter Urban, Luke Fisher, Lana Fisher, Kennedy Kraft and Parker Kraft; as well as a host of friends. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Judith (Oval) Smith and his brother-in-law, James Herman. A Celebration of his life will be held at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 12 noon. Pastor Mark Jacobs will be officiating.
