Larry Gamble

Larry K. Gamble was born in Massillon, Ohio to the late Cecil and Ethel Gamble on March 21, 1950. He passed from this life to eternity on Monday, December 11, 2017. Larry accepted Christ at an early age at the Friendship Baptist Church of Massillon. He later united with the Shiloh Baptist Church of Massillon where he was a member of the Inspirational Chorus, the Male Chorus and most recently served as percussionist. He was a product of the Massillon City School system and played the drums for the Eldorados band during his youthful years. Larry was an avid sports fan, supporting his favorite teams, the Massillon Tigers, Michigan Wolverines, Florida Gators and the Oakland Raiders. He was recently blessed by his daughter, Deidra and son-in-law Troy to attend the Oakland Raiders/Washington Red Skins game in Landover, MD, a most exciting event of his life! In additional to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, James and Howard Gamble. His memory will be cherished by his children; Alithia, Maurice (Cherie), Billy, Deidra (Troy), Kendrayle, Larry, Jr., Nicholas and Lamia, grandchildren; Desheia, Charles, Jr., Quinten (Chanea) Chelse, Amber, Duron, Anthony, Moriah, Justice, Liberty, Caydence, Breeanah, Lareeanah, Troy, Jr., Kendra, Tre’von, Kya, Charmaine, Charis, Michael, Malachi, Nehemiah, Lilliana and La’veah, great-grandchildren; Charles III, Adam, Alonzo, London, Miracle and Malachi, siblings; Linda, Willie (Catherine), Gary (Willia), Lester, Bonnie, Tanya and Tammy (Hollis), a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and friends. A service of remembrance will take place on Saturday, December 23rd at 11:00 AM at Shiloh Baptist Church, 1111-3rd Street SE, Massillon, Ohio. The family will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:00-11:00 AM.
