Kiel J. Dumas, 20, passed away unexpectedly on January 19, 2019. He was born in Columbus on September 19, 1998. Kiel had a tremendous love for the Lord. He was studying animation while working two jobs. Kiel had an infectious spirit and made friends easily as people were drawn to his contagious smile. He left us too soon. Kiel is survived by his mother, Kim (Josh Looman) Dumas; father, Chris Dumas; brother, Brendan Dumas; his cat Loki; grandparents, Sharon Spencer and Sue and Larry Dumas ; adoptive grandparents, Sue and Sam Dudich and Jim Looman; many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, John E. Kime. Friends may call at the Paquelet Funeral Home on Thursday, January 24, 2019 from 6pm-8pm and on Friday, January 25, 2019 at River Tree Jackson Twp. from 10am-11am with a Celebration of Kiel’s Life at 11AM. Burial will follow at Union Lawn Cemetery. Kiel’s favorite Bible verse: Acts 20:24 However, I consider my life worth nothing to me: My only aim is to finish the race and complete the task the Lord Jesus has given me – The task of testifying to the Good News of God’s Grace.
