Kevin S Turkall

Kevin S. Turkall, 58, of Massillon, passed away on December 6, 2021. He was born on May 10, 1963 in Massillon, to the late Mark and Geraldine (Crow) Turkall. Kevin was a 1981 graduate of Massillon Washington High School where he met the love of his life, Cathy Rambo. They were married on June 15, 1984. Kevin also attended Stark State College and Portage Lakes Career Center where he earned his certification in HVAC, electrical, and plumbing. Kevin worked at Shady Hollow Country Club for over 13 years where he was their go-to guy for any maintenance issue. His skill as a self–taught fixer-upper was something he excelled at; whether it was renovating his own home, fixing cars, siding and roofing a house, or carpentry work, Kevin could do it all. He had many talents, that were widely admired, and he was proud of his achievements. He was selfless, well respected, and someone you could always count on. When he wasn’t busy with projects at work or home, Kevin could be found at his friend’s cabin in Carrollton or up on Lake Erie. He was an avid outdoorsman and had a passion for being in the wilderness, whether he was fishing, hunting, mushroom hunting, or trapping wild game. He will be deeply missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Cathy Turkall; his children Jason Turkall, Jared (Danielle Croston) Turkall and Trisha (Joshua Widner) Turkall; his grandsons who were his pride and joy, Jackson and Reese Turkall; his beloved granddogs Winnie and Tippy who he absolutely adored; as well as his brother Dave (Sharon) Turkall. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 16th from 5-7 p.m. at the Paquelet Funeral Home in Massillon. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Jones officiating.
